Sometimes you need a solution that doesn’t exist. From jigs and test sockets for programming hardware to tools you need everyday.
Rapid turnaround has allowed for custom precision tools to be prototyped at high speed and adjusments to be made on the fly.
One such tool is the Motor Grip below. It can be difficult to get a good trip on a brushless motor when tightening propellers. Especially in colder climates fingers will easily slip on the cold slick aluminium motors risking taking off with not fully tightened propellers. I don’t need to spell out the obvious, but when a propeller isn’t tightened properly, bad things happen.
This tool has proven to be of great use to many quadcopter enthusiasts in the hobby, receiving a lot of praise for it’s ease of use.
