Since I was unable to go on holiday this year I decided to bring the swell / slopes to East London.

I had purchased 2 off the shelf electric boards (EU copies of the infamous Liftboard) which were a lot of fun to start out with but were limited in upgrading wheels / motors etc. Not to mention top speed could be improved upon.

Both boards were disassembled, saved some parts, and added some new kit.

The new board required an enclosure for the battery and electronics. Below is the result of a 3D printed enclosure reinforced with Carbon Fibre cloth. The enclosure was finished with 6 layers of CF cloth resulting in a rock solid case.

Spec are Dual 5065 270KV, 6S 17.6ah / 345wh, 3D printed 15/36T gearing, 8.9kg.

Great little board, 18 miles range cruising or 13 miles at full throttle 20+ MPH non stop.
