A modular built drone should be just that. When you’re done shooting aerial photography and want to fly a little more aggressively without risk of damaging the gimbal or legs, these can be removed in less than a minutes work.

Depending on the design of your build, the leg mounts double as ESC protectors so there is no damage to them should they get struck.
